Xmas Moody

10.45am – my colleague came and ask me what’s for lunch. Actually I find it very comical cuz its just past Breakfast time and she is asking me about lunch already.

Haha… I’m having Xmas mood at work, given that its only 10 days away from Xmas!! My fave festive of the year… As usual, I won’t be having a white Xmas.. thou that’s my dream! Xmas in NY or London or anywhere which snows~~

Had a super packed weekend. On sat, we went to the new shopping mall "313" on Saturday to use up my 40% Esprit voucher and also shop for Xmas presents. Ended up I bought more things for myself than others… its lucky that I managed to buy E something as I was supposed to get her gift for the gift exchange. Wanted to get some other gifts for the rest, but can’t seem to see any interesting stuff. On sun, we went to JB to do massage and also to eat yummy butter-oatmeal crayfish at Dai-ma. Fulfilling and dirt cheap… cost only RM113 for a kg of crayfish, emperor chicken, prawn omelette, gu-lu meat and fried dou-miao. RM113 = SGD 45.75, which means per pax only $11.45… wow! I love zi-char!!!

I realised its not that easy to be travelling with others, even if u are close frens… cuz different people have different expectations when travelling. Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea afterall to get so many ppl to go on a Free & Easy trip. Unless they are all comfortable with who is making the arrangements etc. Too many cooks spoil the broth... as the saying goes.

No matter what, im looking forward to my Japan Trip next April. Nothing is gonna stop me! Wahaha..

Weird dream about dogs

Oh dear, I had a weird dream last night!

Me and mum went to visit small uncle who was staying in a kelong (my small uncle does NOT stay in a kelong)…
then we sat on a floating mat enjoying the sea breeze (dun ask me why the mat can float, I duno..).
suddenly, we saw a lot of doggies which resemble my dog, wearing red and blue tees and swimming happily towards us, I swear there were at least 20 of them!!
Some of them upon reaching our floating mat, came up to us and wanted us to sayang them. I remembered the 1st one who came to me was wearing a blue tee.
Then I sayang and sayang and…that’s it.

End of my Dream. Lolz

I woke up, and saw cocoa sleeping between my pillow and raw’s as it was raining.

That’s why I say it’s a weird dream.

Had a great weekend!

Sat luncheon with the fruities and also Amos & Li.. Went to the The Seafood International Market & Restaurant at Big Splash Playground for a yummy and sinful buffet lunch, followed by a fun-filled day of WII and Toy-Roulette at my house!

Sun went back to mum’s house, wanted to buy the famous long-Q lor-mee from Bukit Purmei but it wasn’t open for whatever reason… so disappointed! Anyways, Raw bought dumplings and chicken feet noodles instead. Yummy too.

Yesterday also very very full and sinful.. Breakfast – fried bee hoon, Lunch – Grilled chicken thigh (set), Dinner – Grilled fish (set) at Hans (with compliments from Yen). Put on a whooping 0.6kg just like that!

Today gota eat less., had fried bee hoon for breakfast (again).. and will only stick to fish soup for lunch.

Will be having a light dinner too.. hopefully.

Metabolism oh metabolism… I dun think u ever existed in my life.

Boss is on leave yesterday and today, which means I have to buck up today and clear most of what is left for me to do…. but… no mood.

Ok, I must go and dabao my fish soup before the lunch crowd comes in. Ciao.

Foodie!!

i'm a true foodie..
last few weeks of disappearance, i have been seeking consolation in food!
Here's one of them.

Watami Japanese Restaurant @ Central
A newly opened store.
Food is good, presentation is good.
Service so-so, have to look ard for at least 2 mins then can get someone to take our order althou the place wasn't that packed yet.
Feel uncomfortable and a bit "un-natural" abt the waitresses bowing to us every time they finish talking to us. Sometimes they 4get, and tried to "make-up" for it by walking back to our table and bow.. funnie.
Prices are reasonable, i believe their main competitor will be Ajiten. 80% of the menu can be found in Ajiten's menu as well.

Only remembered abt taking photos after we finished the food.. Hee :)

Thou we had lotsa fun.. I totally LS for 2 days thereafter.

Must be becuz of the pig's liver, cuz i cooked it when the soup's not really boiling!
I was also traumatized by the live prawns jumping ard when they were thrown in the boiling soup! I saw them turning red and the legs were kicking away.. Im like.. "holly shit"!!

Din't touch the pot of soup after that, and of course.. not the prawns!

Please dun eat live seafood, live animals.. watever.

Even if u must eat, pls dun be the one killing them.

Fancy throwing the live creatures in the hot pot this minute and eating them the next?!!

I'm puking. The souls may still be lingering ard to see u munching on their carcasses ><"'

Seriously, i rather cam-whore than to kill prawns.

Went to my favourite shop ytd "Bysi" and saw some really great designs.. tried a few and wanted to buy but gota rush to Balestier to buy a "transformer" for my lamp so no choice but to give up the idea of buying 1st. Before reaching Balestier, O and me took NEL to Farrer Park 1st and went "The French Stall" for dinner. Had nice yummy Pork Chop and of course Desssserts!
